Munken (Monk AS) is a non-profit company founded in 2020 by Scenekunst Sør and Musikkontoret SØRF, with support from Agder Kunstsenter, Sørnorsk Filmsenter, and Norsk Forfattersentrum Sørlandet, to ensure the continued operation of Munken.
Munken is the key meeting place for cultural policy discussions during Arendalsuka, welcoming both large and small organisations to host their events with us. We offer venues of various sizes—each with plenty of character and soul.

Munken (Monk AS) er et ideelt AS som ble stiftet i 2020 av Scenekunst Sør og Musikkontoret SØRF med støtte av Agder Kunstsenter, Sørnorsk Filmsenter og Norsk Forfattersentrum Sørlandet for å kunne drifte Munken videre. Munken er samlingsstedet for kulturpolitikk under Arendalsuka, og ønsker store og små aktører velkommen til å arrangere hos oss. Vi tilbyr lokaler i ulike størrelser, og med veldig mye sjel.
